Nashville Mayor, Karl Dean
Community Leadership Award


Mayor Karl Dean is a friend and strong supporter of the work of Chabad of Nashville. He has participated annually in the lighting of the Riverfront Menorah, and was a guest speaker at the recent groundbreaking of Chabad of Nashville’s new building. Chabad’s Community Leadership Award is presented to Mayor Karl Dean, in recognition of his remarkable traits of leadership during the recent flood that Nashville experienced. He is a man with a vision, a man with a heart, and a man with great determination, to make Nashville the great city it has become.
Boaz and Tali Ramon
Couple of The Year Award


Boaz and Tali Ramon are the owners of Genesis Diamonds in Nashville, and have had a deep rooted connection to Chabad, from the time they lived in Charlotte NC. Moving to Nashville only a few short years ago, they have displayed amazing traits of Chesed and kindness in the most inspiring ways. Tzedakah to them is a way of life. When G‑d has blessed them with success, they felt a sense of responsibility and honor to share of their blessings with others. Boaz and Tali Ramon have assisted Chabad of Nashville, with taking them to their next level, and with making the dream of a new Chabad Center a reality. Chabad’s Couple of the Year Award will be presented to Boaz and Tali Ramon in recognition of their generosity and kindness and displaying the characters of true Balei Tzedakah – Masters of Tzedakah.
Rebecca Climer
Lamplighter Award


Rebecca Climer is a true friend of Chabad of Nashville, and a lamplighter to so many in our community. Rebecca is the Chief Communications Officer of Saint Thomas Health Services, and a leader in the Nashville community. Rebecca is involved in various non profits in Nashville, and has been a participant in the Jewish Learning Institute, and a staunch supporter of the Land of Israel, and the People of Israel. Chabad’s Lamplighter Award will be presented to Rebecca Climer in recognition of her spreading the light of goodness and kindness with the greater Nashville community.

Dr. Colin and Simone Meyerowitz
Keter Shem Tov Award

Dr. Colin and Simone Meyerowitz have been involved with Chabad of Nashville since its inception. They were both very instrumental with the founding of Congregation Beit Tefilah, and Colin serves as the president of The Shul. Colin and Simone are people that are an inspiration to many in the Nashville community, with their commitment and dedication over the past decade to helping Congregation Beit Tefilah become the warm and family place it has become. Chabad’s Keter Shem Tov Award will be presented to Colin and Simone Meyerowitz in recognition of their being The Master of a Good Name, and the impact they have made on the lives of so many in our community.
