# 1. Where can I find reliable kosher food in Nashville?

Nova Market & Café is Nashville's premier kosher market and café, operating under the Mehadrin kosher supervision of Chabad of Nashville. You'll find fresh Israeli cuisine, prepared meals, groceries, challah, meats, dairy products, snacks, beverages, and all your Shabbat essentials.

#2. Can I buy kosher food for Shabbat?

Absolutely. Nova offers everything you need for Shabbat, including challah, wine, grape juice, prepared foods, salads, meats, desserts, and groceries. Whether you're spending Shabbat in a hotel or with friends, you'll find everything you need.

For additional kosher grocery items, there is also a limited selection of kosher products available at Trader Joe's in Green Hills and Trader Joe's on White Bridge Road. These stores carry a variety of kosher packaged foods, frozen items, dairy products, snacks, and other grocery essentials.

#3. Where should I stay if I'm spending Shabbat in Nashville?

The closest accommodations within walking distance of Chabad of Nashville include:

These options allow guests to enjoy Shabbat without the need for transportation.

#4. Does Chabad of Nashville host Shabbat meals?

Yes! We warmly welcome visitors throughout the year.

• Community Shabbat Dinner is held twice each month on Friday evening. Advance reservations are required.

• Community Kiddush Lunch is served every Shabbat following morning services, and everyone is welcome.

#5. Do I need to reserve for Shabbat meals?

Yes. Since seating and meals are prepared in advance, we kindly ask that you reserve as early as possible so we can properly accommodate you.

#6. What time are Shabbat services?

Shabbat morning services begin at 10:00 AM, followed by the Torah reading, an inspiring sermon, and our community Kiddush lunch.

Whether you're a lifelong synagogue attendee or joining us for the first time, you'll feel right at home. Everyone is welcome.

#7. Is there an eruv around Chabad?

Yes. Chabad of Nashville maintains an eruv covering much of the Bellevue area, including the Chabad campus and nearby hotels. Please contact us before Shabbat for the latest eruv information.

#8. Can you accommodate groups or tour buses?

Yes! Whether you're visiting with a family, youth group, synagogue, business delegation, school, or tour group, we'd be delighted to help arrange kosher meals, synagogue services, and other Jewish needs. Please contact us in advance so we can assist you.

#9. I'm only passing through Nashville. Can I still stop by?

Absolutely! Whether you need a kosher meal, groceries, a place to daven, help putting on tefillin, or simply a warm Jewish welcome, we're here for you.
