For thousands of years the Jewish people have sounded the shofar to open the New Year. It is a plain ram’s horn with no words in it, and it says what words cannot.
We take it outdoors on the second day of Rosh Hashanah, into the open air of Edwin Warner Park. No prior experience or background is necessary. Come as you are, bring the kids, and stay for the honey.

The rest of the holiday
Shofar in the Park is one piece of a fuller Rosh Hashanah at Congregation Beit Tefilah Chabad. Morning services, a children’s service, and the New Year’s Eve Dinner all run across the three days.
