The Shul

The coming together of people in prayer has always been an integral part of Jewish life. For thousands of years, Jewish people have created sanctuaries for prayer, from tents to homes, from synagogues to the Great Temple. Our new Shul will inspire and uplift all who enter. Our services are set in a traditional yet educational format, making the experience one of warmth and joy for both the experienced and non-experienced alike. Our Shul will be a place of celebration for a Bris or Bar/Bat Mitzvah, and a place of comfort for the mourner saying Kaddish, a place where little children can learn ancient melodies. Our Shul will be a link in time connecting our community with our ancestors as well as our descendents.

Thank you for giving me this great honor of holding the Torah on Rosh Hashana. It has been almost 40 years since I wore the Talis given to me by my grandfather for my Bar Mitzvah in 1963. I wore it for the occasion of the Aliyah on Sunday and it brought back many wonderful memories of both my father and grandfather. I really felt very connected. Thank you for helping me reunite with our traditions.
